Tape Sync – KCRW’s Press Play

After the financial crisis, Chris Arnade left Wall Street. Years of work as a bond tradesman left him disillusioned, and he began talking long walks through New York City, photographing poverty and addiction, often befriending the subjects of his portraits. Arnade now lives in New Paltz, NY, and travels to America’s most impoverished cities to bring visibility, dignity, and humanity to what he terms “the back row” of the nation.

I went to New Paltz to record Chris Arnade’s interview with KCRW Santa Monica’s Press Play. You can listen to the interview here.
