As a longtime showrunner and series developer for major networks, brands, and indie clients, I’ve been lucky enough to shape shows across genres. With full-suite production experience, I’ve managed every piece of a production workflow from field reporting to the final mix, plus supervising music, ads, and marketing campaigns.

Sleepwalkers
Co-Creator, Senior Producer
Created in 2018-19 with host Oz Woloshyn, Sleepwalkers is a show about how AI is already changing our lives, with labs, expert guests, and field tests exploring everything from food to medicine to crime. Everything from engineering to pitching, researching, booking, reporting, writing, on-mic segments, sound design, press, and publishing each episode.
Featured as example of craft in HowSound, later adapted to a series of articles in WIRED and a branded series for T-Mobile, and continued sustained downloads long after promotion. In my favorite segment, we teamed up with a flavor consulting startup that used AI to map co-host Karah Preiss and my taste buds and develop a new seltzer flavor.
“I wish I’d thought of this.”
– Nicholas Thompson, EIC, WIRED.
In Oct 2018 I spoke at Sound Education about how we approached making an audio show about black box programs living in hard drives.

Forgotten: Women of Juárez
Senior Producer, Audio Director
I showran this investigative true crime series soup to nuts, including trip production and reporting in Juárez, MX & El Paso, TX, building an interview studio at the border, and music supervision.
For our original score I licensed music from a composer in Mexico City and worked with our in-house composer Aaron Kaufman to remix and build on them. Apart from production I sound designed episodes, advised editorial, and contributed writing. When the pandemic came, I oversaw our transition to a remote production, and managed the team between the US/MX border, NYC, Florida, London, and Milan.

Impeachment Today
Senior Producer
A daily show about the first presidential impeachment of Donald Trump. I developed format and sonic identity with our partners at BuzzFeed, and managed our team of remote editors.
Segments like the Nixometer and Testify! received very favorable coverage in The New Yorker, WNYC (4:00) and NY Times. Following the end of impeachment trial, Impeachment was adapted to BuzzFeed Daily.
“Of the mainstream daily impeachment podcasts, though, the only one I’d wholeheartedly recommend is Impeachment Today from BuzzFeed and iHeartRadio. Impeachment Today brings some much needed absurdity to the genre. Recurring bits like the “Nixonometer”—measuring the likelihood of Trump leaving office—and “This F—ing Guy,” profiling a player in this bizarre drama, keep things sprightly and amusing, which helps immensely.“

Anupam Cares
Show Runner, Audio Director
It was a blast to make this limited daily series with Bollywood superstar Anupam Kher. It’s a library of uplifting stories about growing up, striving, and learning from our mistakes to remind us of the beauty in the world, inspired by Anupam’s life and by others around the world.
Huge shout out to Morgan Lavoie, ace producer, writer, and copilot during our recording sessions with Anupam. We got great praise from directors and producers for the show’s warm sound. Dan Bouza and I poured everything into this over the holidays of COVID 2020, and audiences loved the sound design.

Under the Influence with Jo Piazza
Consulting Producer
I helped get Under the Influence ready for launch, and sound designed their first two episodes, trailer, and promos. Jo and show runner Emily Marinoff had a great vision for this. It was a pleasure to support on the sonic front to put listeners in Jo’s head.
Under the Influence has had successive seasons, and Jo continues to be a podcast maven.

Operation Midnight Climax
Show Runner, Sound Director
Had the treat of working with the great Jason English, Lucas Reilly, and Noel Brown on this show. In addition to managing our production and overseeing the score and sound design, I acted as the show announcer. Composer Aaron Kaufman and I were nominated for an Ambies Award for the original score.

Really Good Shares
The Small Bow Podcast
Executive Producer, Show Runner
A.J. Daulerio (Deadspin, GAWKER) and I made Really Good Shares to be the audio version of The Small Bow newsletter, whatever that means. In Season 1, it meant a library of short stories and interviews about recovery and surviving life.
In Season 2, we tried some new things as TSB prepares to grow into an app.

City of the Rails
Executive Producer, Show Runner
I partnered with writer Danelle Morton and her editor Mark Healy to make this blend of investigative reporting and memoir. It’s a mother/daughter train-hopping adventure through the underbelly of America.
People fell in love with Danelle and the characters she introduces them to, and we heard from several fans who listened to episodes two or three times while waiting for the next ones to drop. I’m especially proud of our work with the legends of Profane Sass for our theme, and to document the NOLA squat fire.

Dear Cousin: The Stalking of Susan Fensten
Show Runner, Writer, Sound Designer
I worked with Suzanne Hargrove, VP/EP at Ventureland, to adapt Susan Fensten’s memoir into this six-part Y2K thriller. Dear Cousin is the story of one woman’s survival of a 2 year torture campaign, set in motion by her search for long lost family. When the FBI skeptically investigates, what they discover changes Susan’s life forever.
🎖️Dear Cousin is an Editor’s Pick for July ’24.

The Debutante: Epilogue
Lead Producer
Audible brought me in to produce and edit an epilogue episode to Jon Ronson’s series about Carol Howe and the Oklahoma City Bombing, in light of some developments. Fresh tips came to Jon in Jan 2024 and a few weeks later we traveled to rural Tennessee where I produced our reporting trip and interviews. We gathered some dramatic new stories from locals and family sources, and I pulled in a Hail Mary interview that provided some real heart and drama for our story — resulted in us getting thrown out of a pool hall. It’s always gratifying when sources thank you for how you conduct reporting, especially with sensitive stories and anonymous sources like we had here.

Forthcoming Con Series
Creator, Host
I’m reporting an original investigative series about a breakthrough technology and its enigmatic entrepreneur in the Pacific Northwest. What started as a dental industry disruption worth billions became the subject of federal investigations and a DOJ trial, and ended with more than one dead body – if the story is truly over. I’ve met with a host of parties: whistleblowers and former employees, suspicious shareholders and business partners, and obtained proprietary documents. Best of all, I have two hours of exclusive interview with the man at the center of the story, and reporting into his past that offers revelations no one else has covered. If you’ve got tips, or would like to partner on production, drop me a line.
